Forest Fires in the US and Canada

Political and Legislative Actions
Congressman Langworthy blames Canada's inaction for forest fires, supporting Trump's punitive tariffs.
He supported the “Fix our Forests Act,” which critics say could weaken protections and expand logging.
He voted to open Boundary Waters to copper mining, risking water quality and increasing fire hazards.
