After publication of this week's newsletter, a horrific tragedy occurred in Minnesota. Here's a reminder to check your news sources. There are sites that rate bias and credibility. One that is helpful is mediabiasfactcheck.com. Another is guides.lib.umich.edu, which rates the sources that check for bias and credibility. And, keep the list of issues handy so you can reference them as they arise. Remember, you don't need to know everything, but you can listen to your friend or family member's concerns and review the issue to share with them at a later date.
