A commemorative tribute honoring the nearly 3,000 men and women who lost their lives during the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, will be held on Friday, September 11, 2026, beginning at 5 p.m. at the Lehigh Valley Ray Shaver Depot in Newark Valley.

About the event
The community is invited to come together to remember those who were lost, honor the courage and sacrifice of those who responded, and reflect on the lasting impact of September 11. Dennis Mullen of the Veterans Association will serve as master of ceremonies. Speakers will include Don Castellucci, Wendy Post, Dean Morgan, and Peter Gordon.
