There are a total of 92 elected offices in Tioga County. Today, in 2021, there are 87 Republicans, 4 Democrats, and 1 unaffiliated holding office. Yet, the demographics of voters are approximately 14,200 Republican voters, 8,200 Democratic voters, and 6,900 unaffiliated voters. So, it is easy to see the Republicans are over-represented, and the Democrats are under-represented. The Tioga County Democratic Committee’s goal is to increase the number of Democratic officials in Tioga County.
